About Us

Since 2019, MFP has helped women-owned businesses and nonprofits take care of administrative and operations projects and challenges that take up too much room on the to-do lists of content experts.

Experts in everything from accounting to fundraising, engineering to organizational development, or poverty alleviation to immuno-safety often have several pesky items on the back burner that are NOT at the core of their expertise. MFP is here to take on those necessary but neglected organizational assignments off their plates.

How do we do it?  Like Mary Poppins, we can come into your business for a short time and work with you to accomplish those tasks - conquer a challenge, move a half-done effort to completion, or manage a short-term project. Once it’s done and you’re good to go, we’ll open our umbrella and sail away.

Our founder, Laura, brings 25 years of work experience across various fields, along with executive-level processing and decision-making skills, to all our projects

She loves details, systems, processes, creating efficiencies, and getting stuff done. From the mundane - setting up guidelines and doing data entry for a federal grant or researching endowment files - to the slightly insane - making 50 people switch cubicles all at once or coordinating cow poop bingo - we’re game for anything from completely ordinary to completely random.

Laura’s success is underpinned by being incredibly organized, hardworking, and positive, with a solutions-oriented attitude and drive for excellence. She’s a good listener and loves learning, which allows her to quickly and effectively offer solutions that make sense, grasp clients' needs, and collaborate on solutions.

Laura jumped in to assist us with oh-so-much this year.  Our website. Our invoicing. Our messaging.  She can do it all, and she does it all efficiently, effectively, and with few questions.  She is intuitive, positive, and patient.  I recommend Laura without hesitation.       - Lauren Kramer, Meeting Priorities
